I would like to thank Miss Natasha for spending quite a few afternoons with me this spring. She popped in around noon and stayed for a bit of studio time. I think she was really in it for lunch – “a girl’s gotta eat,” so she says – but I’d like to think she had as much fun as I did.
We talked about getting through college – biology class, my disdain for online classes, and how the experts say a student should study. She horrified me with college student stories that I wish I didn’t know. Let’s just say “college” isn’t what it was when I was her age. She answered my questions about pop culture, a topic I’ll never really understand. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m better off knowing what Millennials think.
Mainly she made me laugh. And laughter is amazing.
Thank you, Natasha, for all your patience and grace and your wonderful smile. We wish you all the best in the coming semester. See you soon.
