Time flies and Miss Ruby is proof. Look at this gorgeous girl!
I swear it was only last week that her mum and dad brought her home to Bangor, a tiny Boxer puppy, all big feet and floppy. Visiting her for a good dose of puppy breath and cuteness was on my list of things to do. I swear. But it didn’t happen. Time got away from me. And now she is all grown up, nearly two years old.
How is that even possible?
Clearly time has been good to this girl. Miss Ruby is as delightful as she is beautiful, a tribute to her parents’ kindness and gentle care. She marched in, acted like she’d been at the portrait studio a million times, and proceeded to run us through our paces. And it was worth it! Just look at those eyes. Ruby is picture perfect, isn’t she? And more importantly, Ruby is loved.
A special thanks to Ruby’s folks, Jodi and Rodney, two of our favorite people we don’t see often enough.
And yes – I know, I asked the same thing – this boxer is stuffed with kibble and treats on a daily basis but evidently has the metabolism of a teenage lumberjack in training for the Iron Man competition. I saw her gobble up half a box of snacks during the shoot and not so much as blink an eye. What I’d give for that sort of bottomless caloric ability.
