Get ready to melt – the newest member of the James clan has arrived! All teeny tiny and perfect, all ten fingers and toes, and already loved and cherished. Congratulations to his parents, Amy and Sean! And all the grammys, grampys, and everyone else, too!
There is a bit of history between the Joles family and the Myerowitz family. We owe these folks a great deal. I’ll get to that in a minute. I’ll start with the subject at hand: family portraits.
We first photographed the Myerowitz family during the Thanksgiving weekend in 2011. That was a wild day, full of laughter and a certain Sesame Street song, and the day’s importance was palpable. Gail knew we were capturing a small slice, a brief moment in the family’s story because life keeps rolling, building, and changing.
What can I say about this child that isn’t adorably obvious? She’s not quite four months old yet, and watching her change and grow is marvelous. A blessing. She is really grinning now, not just grinning really, more like glowing. Honestly, she lit up the whole studio.
And, yes, that hair!
